Cybercriminals impersonate the regional court

Lost24

Another attack by cybercriminals, this time they were impersonating the Stargard Szczeciński regional court.

It is not the first time when we describe the situation, in which cybercriminals try to steal our data using e-mail message with infected attachment.

Swindlers send mails with the alleged invoice. If we will click the attachment,  we can infect our computer with a dangerous virus. Mail seems to be credible because hackers got through to the domain of the regional court in Stargard. The court issued a statement, in which it is announced that infected messages are being sent out from the auto@stargrad.sr.gov.pl box, and opening the attachment can cause loss or theft of data.

The prosecutor's office was informed about the situation. Remember that the court does not get in touch with citizens by e-mail so we should not rashly open attachments of unknown origin.

Recently we wrote about swindlers impersonating the Polish post office

Swindlers, impersonating the InPost company use the similar outline of action.

InPost customers receive false e-mails or texts with the link to the website, where they can download information about the package only if they send paid text and the payment amounts up to 30PLN!!!

Additionally, a file in txt format is being attached to the e-mail. InPost company warns customers not to open it.

We plead for caution, let us not click rashly on attached links.
