Remote stop the car by the police, whether it be real?
MaC
English police put forward an interesting idea. Producer should install the system of remote control in every single vehicle and the police would have access to it. In this way, the system would facilitate intervention for officers, for example the driver doesn't want to stop for a check - one click and the car is stopped.
Certainly, it brings about certain
dangers, above all, the possibility to
access our car by the third parties namely hackers. The experiment conducted by
Chinese scientists could be an example.
They took over the control of the going
car which was equipped with the system providing the access to the Internet.
In what way?
It is enough to connect to the
infected hotspot.
The scientists from China were able to remotely
control Tesla Model Sec. from the other vehicle.
What were they able to do?
For example they could activate brakes when the vehicle was in motion.
Do you think the idea of English police is
going one step too far? Isn't it too big control over the life of citizens?
