Security experts from CERT warn of the increased number of phishing campaigns. The goal is to steal your electronic banking login credentials or install malware on your phone.

However, the most popular phishing campaign is the one informing users about surcharges for a shipment. Personalized text messages are also becoming more popular. Meanwhile, Emotet, Danabot and Ave Maria dominate the malware campaigns.
If you receive a suspicious text message, verify if it contains improper formatting or includes links consisting of shortened url’s.
